Ashley Case, By Ash Case

Ashley Case
Along the shores of the Crystal Coast, where shifting skies meet the rhythm of the ocean, photographer and videographer Ashley Case has built a career rooted in curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong passion for storytelling. Ashley fell in love with photography at just 14, when she bought her first camera. Over time, that early spark grew into a deeper calling—one that eventually led her to the world of videography, where she discovered a new way to capture emotion, movement, and place.

Now based on the Crystal Coast, Ashley finds inspiration in the ever-changing landscape around her. “What I love most about living on the coast is how every day feels different,” she says. “One day it’s calm and peaceful, the next it’s wild with wind and summer storms. The skies, the ocean, and all the natural beauty constantly inspire me to pick up my camera and create. I feel lucky to capture moments that reflect the heart of this place.”

Her approach to working with local businesses is grounded in authenticity and connection. Before ever lifting her camera, Ashley begins by listening—learning what makes a business unique and the feeling they hope to share with their community. “I focus on creating visuals that feel natural and real,” she explains. “Like a friend sharing a great recommendation, not just an ad. A lot of our local businesses have heart behind them, and since tourism plays such a big role here, I want to highlight what makes each one special and invite people in.”

Tourism is woven naturally into her work, especially in the summer months when families return year after year to the Crystal Coast. Ashley treasures these sessions. “Whether it’s a first visit or a yearly tradition, capturing those moments feels really special,” she says. “It’s like helping preserve memories they’ll look back on for years.”

Through her thoughtful eye and intentional storytelling, Ashley not only showcases the beauty of the Crystal Coast—she helps preserve the emotion, connection, and sense of place that keep visitors returning generation after generation.
